Tinting is meant to add a bit of privacy and security and protect you from UV sunlight. A tint with 35% VLT (visible light transmittance) allows 35% of visible light through, blocking about 30% of the light.
What's the difference between ceramic tint and regular tint?
While it uses the same type of sheets as regular window film, the material is coated with ceramic particles. Ceramic Window Tint does not contain metal, dye, nor carbon, but instead a kind of ceramic particle that is both nonconductive and nonmetallic.
